Job Description

<strong>Location:</strong> North York (preferred), open to Chatham, ON<br>
<strong>Work Arrangement:</strong> Hybrid (Mon, Tue, Thu in office)<br>
<strong>Duration:</strong> 1 year</p>
<strong>Pay Rate (T4):</strong> $45.72

<h3><strong>High-Level Description</strong></h3>

<ul>
<li>Perform complex accounting and research analysis for GDS Affiliates finance team
<li>Prepare/review reporting schedules for quarterly/annual external filings and management reporting
</ul>

<hr>
<h3><strong>Specific Accountabilities</strong></h3>

<ul>
<li>Complex accounting research and issue resolution
<li>Review contracts for accounting implications
<li>Month/quarter-end close support
<li>Explain complex accounting impacts to management
<li>Identify and implement process improvements
<li>Ensure SOX and ARC compliance
<li>Support affiliate cost recovery and budgeting
<li>Maintain US GAAP knowledge
</ul>

<h3><strong>Required Skills</strong></h3>

<ul>
<li>University degree in business/accounting
<li>CPA designation + 4+ years related experience
<li>Strong analytical and communication skills
<li>Ability to work independently and under pressure
<li>High integrity and interpersonal skills
</ul>

<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, Hyperion Smartview
<li>US GAAP knowledge
</ul>
