Job Description:
Responsibilities of the Manager, Accounting is as follows but not limited to:
Month-End and Quarter-End Closing
Deliver month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Prepare and review journal entries, including expense allocations and intercompany transactions
Perform and review reconciliations for all Balance Sheet accounts
Investigate and resolve variances in financial statements and fund allocations
Maintain schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external reporting
Year-End Closing & Audit Support
Coordinate year-end close activities, ensuring proper cutoff and compliance
Prepare audit schedules and documentation; liaise with external auditors to address inquiries
Maintain Fixed Asset Register and calculate depreciation for reporting and audit purposes
Reconciliation & Controls
Perform and review bank and credit card reconciliations
Support deferred revenue accounts and ensure compliance with restrictions
Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger and review Corporate Mastercard reconciliations TMGCT
Job Requirements: Post-secondary education in a related field such as Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, etc.
CPA designated or 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in not for profit
