<p>The Investment Engineering & Analytics group (IEA)within the Capital Markets and Factor Investing (CMF) departmentfor a 12-month contract.The IEA groupdevelops and manages a data and analytics ecosystem for CMF strategies covering a wide range of asset classes. The ecosystem includes foundational data sets, investment signal construction processes, analytical libraries, and tools for constructing and analyzing portfolios.</p>
<p>We are recruiting for an Analystin the IEA team. In partnership with a diverse team of professionals, IEAseeksto ensure CMF has the analytical tools and robust infrastructurerequiredto support its portfolio management and research activities.</p>
<p>As an AnalystinIEAyou will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Contribute to the development of a quantitative investment platform with a focus on volatility and risk premia strategies</li>
<li>Partner with colleagues across the department to understand business needs to deliver creative solutionsin a timely manner</li>
<li>Participate in the daily operation of the investment platform to meet investment needs</li>
<li>Continually look for ways to innovate and improve all aspects of our process</li>
<li>Be mentored by senior members of the IEA team who willassistwith your growth and development</li>
<li>The ideal candidate will be graduating from an undergraduateor graduateprogram inApril2025(or later) and is working towards a degree in a STEM or business field.</li>
<li>You have abachelor's degree in engineering, economics, computer science, mathematics, or finance; amaster's degree in financial engineeringor mathematical finance is an asset.</li>
<li>You haveproficiencyin at least one programming language and are familiar with Python</li>
<li>You love to learn new skills, are passionate about technology</li>
<li>You have an interest in computing, finance, mathematics, or related fields</li>
<li>You are familiar with or have an interest in systematic investing, derivatives, and modern portfolio theory</li>
<li>You take pride in your strong interpersonal skills as well as your effective verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>You excel at problem solving and enjoy using analytical skills to devise creative solutions to those problems</li>
