<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Job Title: Rebuild/Retrofit Technician</strong><br /><strong>Job Description</strong><p>We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to perform rebuild and retrofit tasks along with other general assembly duties under the guidance of a qualified technician. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our vehicles and equipment.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Perform rebuild and retrofit tasks and other general assembly duties under supervision.</li><li>Clean vehicles and parts as directed by a trained technician.</li><li>Assist technicians in various functional areas as required.</li><li>Prepare vehicles for interior and exterior painting by scuffing applicable surfaces, using proper masking techniques, and removing rust.</li><li>Understand and apply company safety policies and relevant Occupational Health and Safety regulations.</li><li>Report any accidents, incidents, near misses, and injuries.</li><li>Follow company medical and first aid procedures.</li><li>Use safe work procedures at all times.</li></ul><strong>Essential Skills</strong><ul><li>Experience in mechanics, repair, and retrofit with a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience.</li><li>Proficient communication, organization, and prioritization skills.</li><li>Experience working with teams and/or customers in the manufacturing industry.</li><li>Skills in blueprint reading, and operation of cranes, hand tools, and fork trucks.</li></ul><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong><ul><li>Diploma required.</li><li>Ability to work swing shifts.</li><li>Capability to work in confined spaces and perform physical tasks such as lifting and climbing.</li><li>Must meet anthropometrical size restrictions for confined spaces.</li></ul><strong>Why Work Here?</strong></p><p>Join a leading manufacturing company with a strong work culture. Employees will work around heavy machinery such as fork trucks and cranes, and may experience noise, dust, paint, and temperature fluctuations. The nature of supervision is medium, allowing for some self-directed work with minimal to medium work interruptions and distractions.
