You will advise on a broad range of asset acquisition and finance, mortgage-aggregation, securitization, and over-the-counter derivatives legal matters in a fast-paced, high-volume business environment. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact on our organization through your expertise in capital markets law, transaction structuring, and risk management.Your roleProvide legal advice on asset acquisition and financing, mortgage aggregation, securitization, and derivatives transactions across CanadaStructure and draft documentation for public/private securitizations, asset acquisition and financing, mortgage aggregation, and complex derivative transactionsRepresent the Bank’s legal interests in legislative, business, and industry initiativesCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders including risk, legal, compliance, tax, and accounting teamsManage legal, regulatory, and reputational risks in a fast-paced business environmentYour teamWithin the Capital Markets Legal sector, you’ll be part of a dynamic team of 15 colleagues and report to the Managing Director, Specialized Transactions and Products, Legal.
