Job Description

<p><p>As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission‑critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re‑engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.</p>
<p>In this role you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.</p>
<h3>Your role and responsibilities</h3>

<h3>Candidates must:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Have graduated no earlier than 2023, and will be graduating no later than 2025</li>
<li>Have an Associate’s Degree, College Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree by date of employment (Exception: No MBA or PhD candidates)</li>
<li>Have no more than 2 years of full‑time professional related work experience</li>
<li>Be eligible to work in Canada without current or future need for visa sponsorship (valid work permit, PR, or Canadian citizenship)</li>
<li>Be willing and able to live and work in Nova Scotia, with minimal travel anticipated</li>
<li>Must be eligible for clearance and have lived in Canada for 5–10 years</li>
</ul>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Design and deploy HR technology solutions in SuccessFactors Employee Central</li>
<li>Understand clients’ business processes and guide them through implementation</li>
<li>Conduct requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, and implementation</li>
<li>Troubleshoot key Employee Central functions (business rules, workflows, position management, MDF objects)</li>
<li>Provide training and support for smooth transition and user adoption</li>
<li>Stay current with SAP product developments, enhancements, and best practices to ensure continuous learning and growth</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required education</h3>
<p>Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)</p>
<h3>Required technical and professional expertise</h3>
<ul>
<li>Ability to work in an Agile, collaborative environment understanding requirements, designing, coding and testing innovative applications</li>
<li>Strong Excel skills and experience evaluating data tables and Excel files</li>
<li>Knowledge of at least one SAP module (Finance, Material Management, Sales & Distribution, Logistics/Procurement, etc.)</li>
<li>Excellent customer‑experience skills, leadership experience, and ability to communicate with multiple levels of management</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of compliance regulations & industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)</li>
<li>Hands‑on familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, DevOps, Adobe</li>
</ul>
<h3>Location & Employment</h3>
<p>Bedford, Nova Scotia – Hybrid work arrangement. Entry‑level position in Data & Analytics. Regular full‑time role.</p>
