<p><b>Senior Business Analyst</b></p><p><b>Location:</b> Toronto, ON (Hybrid)</p><p><b>Must Haves:</b></p><ul><li>Proven experience conducting requirements gathering and developing documentation.</li><li>Strong background in developing business strategies and executing business process re-engineering initiatives.</li></ul><p><b>Nice to Have:</b></p><ul><li>Experience working with enterprise systems such as ONTRack or similar platforms.</li></ul><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Deliver a comprehensive range of business analysis services for projects with diverse business and technology needs.</li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.</li><li>Develop and maintain business analysis processes, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across initiatives.</li><li>Lead and conduct business analysis to assess problems, identify opportunities, and define business requirements to support I&IT solutions.</li><li>Apply re-engineering concepts to improve business performance and promote efficient service delivery.</li><li>Develop business strategies, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies for technology initiatives.</li><li>Establish sound processes for requirements gathering through methods such as JAD sessions, interviews, and mockups.</li><li>Conduct modeling exercises (business, use case, data, process, and flow modeling) to document and validate requirements.</li><li>Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.</li><li>Develop performance measures, traceability matrices, and conduct evaluations to ensure business objectives are met.</li></ul><p><b>Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in developing business strategies, preparing business cases, and performing cost-benefit analyses.</li><li>Expertise in gathering requirements, preparing documentation (including presentations and briefing materials), and engaging stakeholders.</li><li>Skilled in using Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools to document requirements and define project scope.</li><li>Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in information and IT.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proven ability to work collaboratively in team environments and meet tight deadlines.</li></ul><p><b>Desirable Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Experience using information retrieval or document management tools.</li><li>Knowledge of information management principles, policies, and best practices.</li><li>Ability to translate business and data requirements into actionable technical specifications.</li><li>Experience with various business analysis methodologies such as business process mapping, functional modeling, and event modeling.</li><li>Familiarity with structured, object-oriented, and agile approaches to requirements gathering.</li><li>Experience developing performance metrics and conducting post-implementation evaluations.</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
