Building a premium branded commercial cleaning franchise network.</p><p>These principles aren’t just words on a wall—they shape every decision we make and every relationship we build.</p><p> </p><p>POSITION SCOPE:</p><p>The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating prospect leads and soliciting prospects to schedule site visit appointments for the JAN-PRO Account Executive with a variety of prospect businesses, including banks, car dealerships, churches, department stores, hotels, medical facilities, office buildings, production facilities, tech companies, food industry, non-profit organizations, and schools, among others. This position’s primary responsibility is to meet/exceed individual/company account sales objectives. If you have prior inside sales experience and a desire to expand your career, we want to hear from you</p><p> </p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p><ul><li>Collaborate with Account Executives to share relevant insights for client site visits.</li><li>Provide regular updates to the Regional Sales Director on lead generation, appointment scheduling, and daily sales activities.</li><li>Identify and qualify new business opportunities through diverse channels, including Google Maps, business directories, commercial listings, property management firms, industry associations, and paid databases.</li><li>Works in cooperation with the Regional Sales Director to help achieve individual objectives</li><li>Makes recommendations to the Regional Sales Director relating to effective sales methods and techniques</li><li>Build teamwork and success</li><li>Proactively establish best-in-class sales processes, sales tracking, etc.</li><li>Be an ambassador for JAN-PRO by representing the company professionally at all times when communicating with our customers, prospects, suppliers, and Certified Business Owners</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p> </p><p>PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:</p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> High School Diploma required</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, telemarketing, or administrative support within a sales environment.</li><li><strong>Communication:</strong> Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.</li><li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with online and digital tools.</li><li><strong>CRM Knowledge:</strong> Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and the ability to maintain accurate client and prospect records.</li></ul><p> </p><p>ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE:</p><ul><li>Air-conditioned/heated office environment</li><li>Exposure to artificial interior lighting</li><li>Low to medium level noise</li><li>Exposure to hazards as typically found in office products and equipment</li><li>Extended periods of sitting and computer-based work in an office setting</li></ul><p> </p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
