The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing complex visualizations, measures, and analytical models to uncover insights and support strategic decision-making.</p><p><strong>Additional Information </strong></p><p>The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Location is CAD $100K - CAD $105K/year & benefits (see below).</p><p><strong><u>The Role</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to tell compelling data stories. </li><li>Design and build complex measures, calculated columns, and advanced time intelligence calculations using DAX. </li><li>Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, perform predictive analytics, and create forecasts utilizing Power BI and Azure analytics tools. </li><li>Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions. </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytical needs and deliver tailored visualizations and reports. </li><li>Understand client interaction data, especially within Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) environments, and incorporate insights into BI solutions. </li><li>Support ongoing data warehouse / business intelligence development and maintenance projects.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Proven hands-on experience with a broad set of visualization techniques in Power BI, demonstrating both technical depth and storytelling skill. </li><li>Extensive experience developing complex measures, calculated columns, and advanced time intelligence using DAX. </li><li>Proficiency in analyzing large datasets for trend analysis, predictive analytics, and forecasting. </li><li>Experience in requirements gathering and translating them into effective BI solutions. </li><li>Solid understanding of Contact Centre data and CCaaS solutions.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Preferred, but not required:</strong></p><ul><li> Knowledge of dimensional modeling techniques. </li><li>Experience with Power BI, PowerView, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, and Analytical Services. </li><li>Familiarity with relational database modeling techniques. </li><li>Prior experience working within a data warehouse or business intelligence environment, whether in development or support roles.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>We offer:</u></strong></p><ul><li>A multinational organization with 58 offices in 21 countries and the possibility to work abroad.</li><li>15 days (3 weeks) of paid annual leave plus an additional 10 days of personal leave (floating days and sick days).</li><li>A comprehensive insurance plan including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability.</li><li>Flexible hybrid policy.</li><li>RRSP with employer's contribution up to 4%.</li><li>A higher education certification policy.</li><li>On-demand Udemy for Business for all Synechron employees with free access to more than 5000 curated courses.</li><li>Coaching opportunities with experienced colleagues from our Financial Innovation Labs (FinLabs) and Center of Excellences (CoE) groups.</li><li>Cutting edge projects at the world's leading tier-one banks, financial institutions and insurance firms.</li><li>A truly diverse, fun-loving and global work culture.</li></ul><p><strong>SYNECHRON'S DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT</strong></p><p>Diversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
