Responsibilities
- Plan, research, develop, implement, coordinate and manage the operations and delivery of sports programs for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Sports program.
- Develop, amend, implement and interpret national, regional and international sports policies and procedures for the CAF and evaluate, develop and implement policy amendments regarding program liability.
- Develop, recommend and implement policies for ethical conduct and anti‑doping regulations in sports, and oversee the conduct, evaluate the operation and recommend corrective procedures for CAF national, regional and international sports programs.
Qualifications – Education, Certifications and Licenses
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Administration, Recreation, Exercise Sciences or a related field, and some years of experience in sports and recreation administration or in a related field.
- OR College diploma or certificate in Physical Education, Sports Administration, Recreation Management or a related field, and several years of experience in sports and recreation administration or in a related field.
- Current National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Level 3 Theory and Technical certification.

- Planning and coordinating the operations and delivery of sports programs at the national or international level.
- Applying policies, procedures and regulations.
- Coordinating leagues, tournaments and championships.
- Coordinating logistical support for sport venues.
- Designing high‑performance training programs for coaches, managers, athletes and officials.
- Budget administration.
- Personnel administration.
- Coaching sports.
- Officiating sports.
- Planning and conducting presentations.

Other Information
This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
