Senior Caregiver/Campanion
We are searching for (part time) compassionate, attentive and cheerful Senior Caregivers to join our team.
We are searching for someone that is available on Wednesday (2pm to 8pm), Thursday (8am to 2pm), Friday (2pm to 8pm) and Saturday a month (2pm to 8pm).
Responsibilities
- Supporting the individual with daily activities such as dressing, eating and maintaining personal hygiene (PSW)
- Helping with simple household tasks such as light cleaning and laundry
- Assisting with grocery shopping and meal preparation
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs
- Ensure clients' comfort and safety at all times
- Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings
Qualifications
- Previous Care giver experience an asset
- Knowledge of general housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- Certification in first aid, CPR, and caregiver training is preferred
- Personal Vehicle an asset
- Vulnerable Sector check
- Bilingualism an asset
- References required
