Approximately 70% of the job will focus on renovations, 20% on moving furniture and construction materials, and 10% on gathering materials.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform drywall, trim work, and door <span >installation/repair.</span></li><li>Engage in basic renovation tasks and material handling.</li><li>Move furniture and construction materials efficiently.</li><li>Gather necessary materials for daily tasks.</li><li>Participate in tool box meetings to discuss daily expectations.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>2-3 years of experience with hand and power tools.</li><li>Ability to lift 50lbs.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li><li>Experience in production, general labor, and woodwork.</li><li>Proficiency in carpentry, framing, painting, and repair.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Personal transportation is preferable as transit is accessible but requires a far walk.</li><li>Experience with modular construction is a plus.</li><li>Apprenticeship experience in carpentry is welcome, though no journeyman is available to sign off on hours.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work Here?</strong></p><p>Enjoy a fun and engaging workplace where team activities like bowling and pizza parties are a regular occurrence. The facility is located in NW Edmonton and is transit accessible, though a car is ideal due to a 20-minute walk from the nearest transit stop.
