Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire certified Workday professionals: Workday Payroll/Time and Absence, Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Financial Accounting.

As a Certified Workday Consultant, the role focuses on delivering expert solutions and support for end clients in a post implementation environment. Troubleshooting, optimizing and providing Application Management Services (AMS) while upholding excellent customer service and delivery standards is critical in this role.

Compensation:

$65/hr to $98/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D. Employees will also have access to a registered retirement savings account with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.



Workday Payroll/T&A responsibilities include:

  • Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering
  • Lead discussions with clients to understand payroll processes, time tracking needs, and compliance requirements. Document business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Solution Design & Configuration
  • Configure complex client requirements within Workday Payroll and Time & Absence modules, ensuring accurate payroll processing, tax calculations, and time tracking functionalities.
  • Payroll Process Assessment & Issue Resolution
  • Act as a Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) to identify process gaps, assess payroll tenant configurations, and resolve defects or inefficiencies. Provide recommendations for enhancements to improve accuracy and compliance.
  • Testing & Validation
  • Support and lead testing activities, including payroll runs, time tracking validations, and integration testing. Ensure all configurations meet client expectations and regulatory standards.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
  • Prepare detailed documentation of implemented solutions and conduct training sessions for client teams to ensure smooth adoption and ongoing system utilization.
  • Continuous Improvement & Advisory
  • Stay updated on Workday enhancements and payroll compliance regulations. Advise clients on best practices to optimize payroll operations and workforce management.

Workday Adaptive Planning responsibilities include:

  • Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering
  • Lead discussions with clients to understand business planning needs, financial models, and operational processes. Document requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Solution Design & Configuration
  • Configure Workday Adaptive Planning to support financial planning, workforce planning, and sales forecasting. Develop models, dashboards, and reports tailored to client objectives.
  • Scenario Modeling & Data Integration
  • Enable real-time data updates and scenario modeling to help clients adjust plans based on changing business conditions. Integrate Adaptive Planning with other enterprise systems for seamless data flow.
  • Testing & Validation
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, lead conference room pilots, and perform system testing to ensure accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
  • Documentation & Training
  • Prepare detailed documentation of implemented solutions and deliver training sessions to client teams for effective adoption and utilization.
  • Project Management & Team Leadership
  • Manage small teams or workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. Coordinate tasks across design, prototyping, and implementation phases.
  • Continuous Improvement & Advisory
  • Stay updated on Adaptive Planning enhancements and industry best practices. Provide strategic recommendations to optimize planning processes and improve decision-making


Workday Financial Accounting responsibilities include:

  • Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering
  • Conduct detailed discussions with clients to understand their business needs and financial processes. Document requirements and translate them into actionable configurations within Workday.
  • Solution Design & Configuration
  • Configure complex client requirements across Workday Financial Accounting, Procurement to Payment, Project Billing, and Banking & Settlement modules. Ensure configurations align with best practices and client objectives.
  • Expert Advisory
  • Provide strategic recommendations and propose tailored solutions to optimize financial operations. Advise on integration with other Workday modules such as HR and Payroll for a unified data view.
  • Testing & Validation
  • Lead and support testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Validate configurations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of implemented solutions and deliver training or knowledge transfer sessions to client teams for smooth adoption.
  • Continuous Improvement & Support
  • Stay updated on Workday enhancements and industry trends to provide clients with innovative solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and decision-making.
