<p><strong>Clinic Instructor & Supervisor – Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) Program</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Vancouver Career College – Abbotsford Campus</p><p><strong>Start Date:</strong> October 6, 2025</p><p><strong>Reports To:</strong> Campus Director / RMT Coordinator</p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Casual, Part-Time</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday-Friday am 8:30start, 1:00pmstart</p><p>2 classes per day</p><p>Theory classes are 3 hours long, practical classes 3.5hr</p><p>Clinical supervisor shifts between 4-6 hours when the clinic is open on Thursday/Friday</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Clinic Supervision:</strong> $40.00 per hour</li><li><strong>RMT Instruction:</strong> $45.00 – $50.00 per hour</li></ul><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Vancouver Career College Abbotsford is seeking a <strong>Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) Clinic Instructor & Supervisor</strong> to play a vital role in training and mentoring future massage therapy professionals.</p><p>This dual-role position involves <strong>classroom instruction</strong> as well as <strong>hands-on clinical supervision</strong>, supporting students through their academic journey and practicum experiences. You will help students gain the practical skills, confidence, and professionalism required for a successful career in massage therapy.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>1. Classroom Instruction & Student Development</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver engaging, effective lessons aligned with program curriculum and learning objectives.</li><li>Create dynamic lesson plans and teaching aids tailored to diverse student needs.</li><li>Provide personalized feedback, track student progress, and support their academic and professional growth.</li><li>Foster a positive, professional, and respectful learning environment.</li><li>Ensure all online and in-class materials are current and relevant.</li></ul><p><strong>2. Clinical Supervision & Practical Training</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the student clinic, ensuring a safe, professional, and compliant environment.</li><li>Guide students through real-world client interactions and hands-on practice.</li><li>Support students in meeting practicum objectives as outlined in the RMT curriculum.</li><li>Maintain communication with the Campus Director regarding student progress or concerns.</li><li>Model best practices for professional conduct and client care.</li></ul><p><strong>3. Student Evaluation</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement fair, consistent evaluation methods for both academic and clinical performance.</li><li>Provide meaningful, timely feedback to help students improve their skills and knowledge.</li><li>Discuss performance individually or in groups to encourage growth and accountability.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and submit grades according to college guidelines.</li></ul><p><strong>4. Program Administration & Collaboration</strong></p><ul><li>Work closely with administrative staff and fellow instructors to ensure smooth program operations.</li><li>Complete and submit documentation such as attendance, evaluations, and reports promptly.</li><li>Participate in curriculum development and updates to keep course content relevant.</li><li>Engage in performance reviews and teaching evaluations to support ongoing improvement.</li></ul><p><strong>5.
