Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.<br><br>Job Responsibilities:<br><br>RESPONSIBILITIES<br><br>Perform layout inspection on product, fixtures or dies as required using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), including sample layout and initial capability studies<br><br>Make program adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy<br><br>Ensure the integrity and accuracy of CMM programs and results<br><br>Communicate any drawing discrepancies and/or deficiencies to Engineering<br><br>Verify CMM measurement results using alternative metrology techniques<br><br>Perform fixture and gauge calibration<br><br>Conduct hardness testing, doc audits and receiving inspection as required<br><br>Must be aware of relevance and importance of their activities and how it effects quality and the environment for our customers<br><br>HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES<br><br>1. Follows the duties and responsibilities specified under the Occupational Health & Safety Act Sec. 28 - duties of a worker<br><br>2. Ensures all safety rules and regulations are followed<br><br>3. Ensures adherence to established safety, quality and housekeeping standards and participates in the continuous improvement process<br><br>4. Adheres to all health and safety, environmental, and quality standards, policies and procedures<br><br>5. Follows compliance obligations<br><br>6. Reports any known near miss, environmental impact, hazard, defect, incident or compliance issue to the employer or supervisor<br><br>7. Assists in near miss, hazard and incident investigations and provides input on corrective actions<br><br>8. Understands Bill 168 and upholds the policies that prohibit domestic violence, workplace violence and harassment in the workplace<br><br>9. Attends Environmental Health and Safety training<br><br>10. Understands the right to refuse unsafe work<br><br>11. Conforms to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Environmental Health and Safety Management System<br><br>QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS<br><br>Completion of high school or equivalent<br><br>1 to less than 3 years of work related experience<br><br>Computer literate: Lotus, Microsoft Office, PCDMS and strong knowledge of CMM software, file management<br><br>Familiar with Power and Control Distribution Module Programming (PCDMS)<br><br>Ability to accurately and reliably use various precision hand gauges and testing equipment<br><br>Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and apply Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) as is intended<br><br>Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:<br><br>At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
