<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>We’re seeking an experienced Construction Manager on behalf of a reputable local residential builder. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br /><ul><li>Oversee construction schedules and site operations through regular walk-throughs and progress tracking. </li><li>Coordinate with Site Superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep builds on track. </li><li>Manage site services (utilities, drainage, connections) and resolve any delays or unforeseen conditions. </li><li>Lead inspections and quality control to ensure all work aligns with building codes and specifications. </li><li>Champion site safety by enforcing protocols, conducting hazard assessments, and managing incident reporting. </li><li>Monitor budgets, approve invoices, and optimize resource use with procurement teams. </li><li>Mentor site teams, provide performance feedback, and support succession planning. </li></ul><br /><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br /><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil or Construction Engineering (preferred). </li><li>Valid Provincial Driver’s License (required). </li><li>Gold Seal (GSC), PMP, COR/NCSO, First Aid/CPR (assets). </li><li>Proven leadership experience in residential construction. </li><li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. </li></ul><br /> If you’re looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to join a dynamic team, apply today!<br><br> MacDonald Search Group builds diverse high performing teams reflective of the Canadian employment landscape.
