<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>As a Pythian Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to deliver insights and build predictive models. You will work on both internal IP development and client projects, applying a variety of techniques to solve complex business problems. Additionally, you will use and fine-tune pre-trained models, such as Large Language Models (LLMs), to accelerate development and enhance model performance.</p><p>Location: Canada | Remote | Work from home. This role is remote and open to candidates in the US or Canada with a stable internet connection.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to extract meaningful insights.</li><li>Develop and implement machine learning models (supervised and unsupervised).</li><li>Fine-tune and adapt pre-trained models (e.g., LLMs) for specific use cases and client projects.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and domain experts to develop data-driven solutions.</li><li>Build predictive models and algorithms addressing complex business challenges.</li><li>Communicate results and insights through data visualizations and reports.</li><li>Stay current with the latest developments in data science, ML, and AI, with a focus on practical application of pre-trained models and cutting-edge technologies.</li><li>Develop and maintain internal IP around advanced analytics, model development, and AI-driven tools.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
