<p>Job Overview<br><br>We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to oversee daily operations within our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, and ensuring smooth office workflows. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where efficiency and professionalism are valued. Experience with dental or medical office procedures, electronic medical records, and human resources functions will be highly advantageous.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Manage patient and client scheduling, appointments, and follow-ups using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix</li><li>Handle billing, coding, and insurance claims processing accurately and efficiently</li><li>Support human resources activities including onboarding, training, and staff communication</li><li>Maintain and update patient records while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations</li><li>Assist with inventory management of office supplies and medical/dental materials</li><li>Coordinate communication between departments, patients, and external vendors</li><li>Supervise administrative staff to ensure productivity and adherence to office policies</li><li>Prepare reports related to budgeting, patient statistics, or operational metrics as needed</li><li>Support clinical staff by managing documentation related to medical or dental procedures</li></ul><p>Skills</p><ul><li>Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental management software; experience with electronic medical records systems is a plus</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures</li><li>Previous experience in a dental office environment is preferred</li><li>Supervising experience demonstrating leadership capabilities in an administrative setting</li><li>Knowledge of human resources practices including hiring, training, and employee relations</li><li>Ability to manage budgets and handle financial documentation accurately</li><li>Familiarity with healthcare regulations regarding patient privacy and data security</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with patients, staff, and vendors</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: $19.91-$28.39 per hour</p><p>Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Dental care</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>Create Your Resume First
