Role Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic operations while delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment where no two days are the same.


Key Responsibilities

    • Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
    • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
    • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while maintaining an efficient treatment calendar
    • Check patients in and out and support smooth patient flow throughout the day
    • Collect and process payments and assist with basic billing inquiries
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and demographic information
    • Verify insurance information and assist with insurance documentation when required
    • Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including data entry, filing, scanning, and managing office supplies
    • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional at all times
    • Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative team members to support patient care
    • Provide coverage and support at multiple View Dental locations as needed



What Were Looking For


Experience

    • 12 years of experience in customer service, front desk, or office administration
    • Experience in a dental or clinical environment is considered an asset
    • Experience using dental practice management software such as Dentrix is an asset



Skills and Attributes

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
    • Professional phone etiquette and a patient-focused mindset
    • Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and standard office technology
    • Reliable, adaptable, and able to work across multiple clinic locations
