<h3>Developer with Java, Python, AWS</h3>
<p>This position is with a global IT services firm for a leading investment/wealth management services firm.</p>
<p><b>Client Location:</b> Downtown Toronto, Ontario, close to TTC and GO service.<br/><b>Work Arrangement:</b> Hybrid - In Office 4 days per week.<br/><b>Contract Duration:</b> 6 months, with possible renewal.</p>

<h3>Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure successful project completion</li>
<li>Design software solutions by collaborating with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff, and peers to understand requirements</li>
<li>Develop solutions aligned with client’s technology preferences, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and enabling new trading activities</li>
<li>Provide knowledge transfer through demos, walkthroughs, and documentation</li>
</ul>
<h3>Mandatory Skills:</h3>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in an enterprise environment covering the full development lifecycle</li>
<li>Strong skills in Java and Python development, including analysis, coding, and design</li>
<li>Data engineering skills, including database design, data modeling, and data governance principles</li>
<li>Proficiency with AWS</li>
<li>Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to manage client expectations</li>
</ul>
<h3>Nice-to-Have Skills:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of Capital Markets domain, ideally understanding securities and derivatives trading</li>
