Maintaining the safety and reliability of machinery and equipment is critical in achieving optimal production efficiency of the plant operations and production.Day to Day<ul><li>Conduct routine preventative maintenance of processing and plant equipment according to schedule and during planned maintenance.</li><li>Perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance, overhaul, <span >assembly/disassembly,</span> and installation of equipment.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections and report the status and condition of the equipment to prepare and schedule the necessary service and repair prior to planned maintenance schedule.</li><li>Complete the work orders and log them in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.</li><li>Work effectively in a food processing environment with emphasis and compliance to food safety, Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards (BRCGS) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.</li><li>Optimize equipment safety, food safety and reliability of machines and equipment by following and complying with appropriate precautions to prevent risk to employees and to the product.</li><li>Perform maintenance post clean up and maintain high standard of sanitation and housekeeping at the processing area and maintenance shop.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 3rd level Electrician apprenticeship is required. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial plant maintenance or 2 years in the food manufacturing industry or packaging processes. </li><li>Good understanding of automation, PLC and control. </li><li>Experience with GMP and BRCS food safety system. </li><li>Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).</li><li>Experience in the LOTO and Arc flash protocols.</li></ul>Work and grow with a family-owned company.
