Industrial / Maintenance Electrician (442A)
Mississauga OR Etobicoke | Food Manufacturing Environment
8 OR 12 hour night shift available
We are seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) to join our Maintenance Team supporting industrial bakery and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role is focused on electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently to support production uptime.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and production equipment
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bakery and packaging machinery
Diagnose electrical faults using schematics, meters, and diagnostic tools
Support production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
Install, examine, replace, and repair electrical components
Assist with electrical programs, PM schedules, and reliability initiatives
Work collaboratively with millwrights, refrigeration operators, and other trades
Ensure all work complies with ESA, safety regulations, and company SOPs
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Equipment & Systems
Industrial bakery and packaging equipment
Motors, drives, sensors, and control panels
PLC-controlled systems (troubleshooting and support; programming is an asset)
Building electrical services related to production equipment
What We’re Looking For
Required:
Valid Industrial Electrician License (442A)
3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
Comfortable working in a team-based maintenance environment
Flexibility to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights), weekends, and holidays
Assets:
Refrigeration Operator Class “B” certification
Food or beverage manufacturing experience
Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge
Work Environment & Schedule
24/7 manufacturing facility
Shift based on location, straight 8 or 12 hour nights
Weekend and holiday coverage as part of rotation
