<p>You have a natural gift for interacting with children aged 6 to 11, the English language holds no secrets for you, and you aspire to contribute to the educational development of students?</p><p>We are looking forward to meeting you!</p><p><b>Percentage of work: 27,7000%</b></p><p><b>THE POSITION</b></p><p>The teacher passionately facilitates enriching educational activities for students and actively participates in the animation of school life, bringing warmth and dynamism to the associated pedagogical activities.</p><p><b>THE RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li>Develop and provide courses as well as educational and early-learning activities, while tailoring teaching to individual needs.</li><li>Encourage an engaging and secure learning environment.</li><li>Monitor and adjust the pedagogical approach based on assessment of student progress.</li><li>Keep parents regularly informed of their children's progress and challenges.</li><li>Contribute to the animation of school life and extra-curricular activities.</li><li>Collaborate with school staff to provide personalized support to students.</li><li>Coordinate extra-curricular activities and work placements to enrich learning.</li><li>Provide mentoring and targeted academic support.</li><li>Supervise all students under his/her responsibility, ensuring their safety.</li><li>Communicate results and student progress to principals and parents in accordance with protocols.</li><li>Manage absences/delays and participate in pedagogical meetings for professional development.</li><li>Perform various pedagogical responsibilities to enhance the educational experience.</li></ul><br> <ul><li>Hold or be in the process of obtaining <b>a valid teaching permit</b> issued by the MEQ.</li><li><b>Fluency in written and spoken English</b>, as well as a good knowledge of French.</li><li>Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and enthusiasm for educating students.</li><li>Adapt to the specific needs of each student.</li><li>Create effective teaching methods that respect students' different levels of development and acquired skills.</li><li>Keep abreast of the latest trends in educational programs and pedagogical research.</li><li>Be able to modify predefined activity plans and be flexible in lesson planning.</li><li>Apply conflict-resolution-oriented classroom management strategies.</li><li>Keep students motivated to achieve their full potential.</li><li>Have a keen interest in participating in initiatives that contribute to the school's development or in team projects.</li><li>Previous relevant experience would be an asset!</li></ul><p> </p><p>All teachers are part of the Central Québec teachers’ association</p><p><br></p>
