For more information, please visit .</p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Work Term Start Date</b>: May 2026 (available for 16-month term)</p><p><b>Position</b>: Internship </p><p><b>Title</b>: Engineering Student</p><p><b>Job Location: </b>Calgary, Alberta</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities: </b></p><p>Work with Area Engineers on the following: </p><p><br></p><ul><li>Support team through data acquisition/analysis for optimization of projects, well records reviews, lookback reviews and ongoing operations and engineering support</li><li>Gain exposure to all aspects of well operations including drilling, completions, well servicing and well abandonment</li><li>Make field visits to observe and learn </li><li>Creating and updating wellbore schematics</li><li>Conducting detailed project cost auditing & post project analysis</li><li>Maintaining vendor pricing and quotes</li><li>Field visits to review safety and for critical jobs on a learning basis</li><li>Completing detailed programs and cost estimates and sending them to the Superintendent for review</li><li>Receiving work requests and approvals for expenditure (AFE) </li><li>Managing Wellbore Integrity and Liabilities within current AER Directives</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Job Requirements</b>:</p><ul><li>Currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year of an Engineering Program</li><li>Currently living or willing to move to Calgary</li><li>Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license or equivalent out-of-province license.</li><li>Oil and gas experience an asset but not necessary</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Must be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team</li><li>Computer skills are essential</li><li>Safety conscientious</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If interested, please forward your resume and transcript to .</p><p>What we offer:</p><p> Competitive Salary</p><p> Paid time off during Christmas and New Year's</p><p> Flexible work environment that allows staff to work from home (up to 2 days per week).</p>
