<p><strong>Job Title: Executive Assistant To Senior Rabbi</strong></p><p>Reports To: Senior Rabbi</p><p>Location: North York (in-person, daily)</p><p>Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)</p><p>Working Days/Hours:</p><ul><li>Monday to Thursday: 9 am - 6 pm</li><li>Friday: 9 am - 1 pm</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Salary Range: 55-75k CAD</p><p>Benefits: No</p><p>Vacation:</p><ul><li>Year 1: 10 days (2 weeks)</li><li>Year 2 to 5: 15 days (3 weeks)</li><li>Year 6+: 20 days (4 weeks)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Our employer, a dynamic <strong>Orthodox Jewish non-profit organization</strong>, is seeking an <strong>Executive Assistant </strong>to support the Senior Rabbi (SR) of their Community Center of Toronto.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan and assist with Fundraising activities</li><li>Collect Pledges</li><li>Manage SR’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, life cycle events, fundraising activities, deliveries, classes and travel arrangements</li><li>Prepare any supportive materials, agendas, and daily reports</li><li>Take notes and follow up on action items from internal and external meetings</li><li>Handle incoming correspondence and prioritize responses</li><li>Coordinate communication with donors</li><li>Maintain contact lists and ensure up-to-date records in Salesforce CRM</li><li>Maintain digital and physical files in an organized, accessible manner</li><li>Ensure smooth daily operations of SR's office</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organizational and personnel information</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Ideal Candidate Will Have:</strong></p><ul><li>Appetite for taking initiative and ability to understand the spirit rather than the letter of instruction</li><li>Experience as an executive assistant (nonprofit preferred)</li><li>Experience in Fundraising activities</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>Strong written communication skills and attention to detail</li><li>Comfort with digital tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM software)</li><li>Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and take initiative</li><li>Discretion and professionalism with sensitive information</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Bonus Skills (Not Required):</strong></p><ul><li>Experience supporting nonprofit leadership</li><li>Familiarity with donor databases or fundraising software (e.g. Salesforce CRM)</li><li>Working knowledge of Russian and Hebrew</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li>Entrepreneurial, fast-paced, collaborative office environment</li><li>Occasional evening or weekend work may be required</li><li>Occasional evening or weekend work may be required</li></ul>
