Job Summary <br /><br />Job Summary: DJ Peat Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd. is currently seeking skilled Flat Roofers to join our team. We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 3 year of experience in flat roofing ; however, we are willing to provide training to the right candidates. A valid working at height certificate is considered an asset for this position. As a Flat Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofs according to industry standards and company guidelines. This is a full-time position with Monday to Friday work schedule, starting at 7 am (finish time may vary).<br /><br />Responsibilities:<br /> Install, repair, and maintain various types of flat roofing systems.<br /> Prepare roofs for installation by removing old roofing materials, cleaning the surface, and ensuring proper insulation and waterproofing.<br /> Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific roof dimensions.<br /> Apply roofing materials, including membranes, asphalt, and other coatings, using appropriate techniques and tools.<br /> Install and seal roof flashing and other roof components.<br /> Conduct inspections to identify and repair any leaks, damages, or potential issues with the roof.<br /> Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing appropriate protective equipment and following working at height regulations.<br /> Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion.<br /> Maintain a clean and organized work area.<br /><br />Qualifications:<br /> Minimum 1 year of experience in flat roofing.<br /> Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.<br /> Valid working at height certificate is an asset.<br /> Knowledge of different types of flat roofing systems and materials.<br /> Familiarity with roofing tools and equipment.<br /> Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.<br /> Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br /> Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.<br /> Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.<br /> Valid driver's license is preferred.<br /><br />How to Apply: For more information about this position, please contact us at<br /><br />.<br />To apply, please send your resume to .<br /><br />Join our team of dedicated flat roofers and contribute to our success in providing high-quality roofing services.
