You will be responsible for using RF scan guns for order picking and operating various forklifts including the Raymond reach and sit-down counterbalance. This role involves loading and unloading trailers, case picks, bulk picks, and handling heavy lifting. It is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for advancement and a yearly wage increase.</p><p>This would be a day shift running Monday to Friday from 6:00am until 2:30pm.</p><p>The pay rate for this shift is $20.50 an hour.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Operate Raymond reach and sit-down counterbalance forklifts.</li><li>Use RF scan guns for order picking.</li><li>Load and unload trailers.</li><li>Perform case and bulk picks.</li><li>Engage in heavy lifting tasks.</li><li>Participate in shipping and receiving operations.</li><li>Utilize warehouse inventory system knowledge.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>1+ years of experience with reach forklifts.</li><li>1+ years of experience with sit-down forklifts.</li><li>Proficiency in shipping and receiving.</li><li>Experience with loading and unloading trailers.</li><li>Knowledge of warehouse inventory systems (WMS).</li><li>Must drive - not transit accessible.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with double deep reach trucks.</li><li>Proficiency with RF scanners.</li><li>Ability to work in varied locations.</li><li>AB Forklift certification is preferred.</li><li>Experience with Raymond dockstocker, and power pallet equipment is advantageous.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work Here?</strong></p><p>This position offers a long-term opportunity with a well-regarded third-party logistics provider. It is safety-oriented with an open-door policy, and audit results are shared transparently with staff. The facility primarily handles bulk pallets, with some case picking. Employees start with case picking to familiarize themselves with products and progress to receiving and bulk operations. The morning shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and the facility is located at a new site with no transit system available.
