With welcoming facilities, vibrant programming, and a hospitality-forward mindset, we're building inclusive clubs that feel like your favorite neighbourhood hangout and your go-to place to play.</p><br /><strong>About the Role</strong><p>Fairgrounds Pickleball Clubs is seeking an energetic, experienced, and community-focused <strong>Head Pickleball Professional</strong> to lead our on-court programming, coaching, and staff development. As the face of Fairgrounds, you will embody our mission of delivering exceptional pickleball experiences to players of all levels while building a welcoming and vibrant club culture.</p><br /><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><p><strong>Coaching & Instruction (Approx. 1520 hrs/week)</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver private lessons, group clinics, and specialized training sessions.</li><li>Develop structured lesson/ clinic plans for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.</li><li>Foster player development through hands-on coaching and clear feedback.</li></ul><p><strong>Programming & Events (Approx. 1012 hrs/week)</strong></p><ul><li>Design, implement, and run engaging pickleball programs (leagues, ladders, socials, tournaments, junior programs, etc.).</li><li>Ensure programming is inclusive, fun, and aligned with the Fairgrounds brand.</li><li>Actively engage with members to encourage participation and community growth.<br /></li></ul><p><strong>Leadership & Management (Approx. 810 hrs/week)</strong></p><ul><li>Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor assistant pros and coaching staff.</li><li>Set coaching standards and ensure program consistency across the club.</li><li>Collaborate with club management to meet program and membership goals.<br /></li></ul><p><strong>Community Engagement (Ongoing)</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the <strong>face of Fairgrounds Pickleball</strong>, building strong relationships with members, guests, and the local pickleball community.</li><li>Represent the club at events, tournaments, and community outreach opportunities.</li><li>Maintain a positive, professional, and approachable presence on and off the court.<br /></li></ul><br /><strong>Qualifications</strong><ul><li><strong>NCCP Certified Pickleball Coach</strong> (required).</li><li>Proven experience as a pickleball professional, coach, or equivalent leadership role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of pickleball instruction methods, techniques, and current trends.</li><li>Exceptional communication and leadership skills.</li><li>Ability to create, promote, and deliver dynamic programs for all ages and abilities.</li><li>Passion for building community and growing the sport.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Position Details</strong><ul><li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Full-time, 40 hours per week (on-site).</li><li><strong>Balance:</strong> Approximately 50% <span >coaching/instruction,</span> 2530% <span >programming/events,</span> 2025% <span >leadership/management.</span></li><li><strong>Compensation:</strong> Competitive salary based on experience</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
