<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: 22.00<br /><p>Job Summary:</p><p>The Head Swim Instructor oversees all aspects of swim instruction, ensuring the delivery of high-quality aquatic programs that cater to various age groups and skill levels. This role involves teaching lessons, reviewing lesson plans, supervising swim instructors, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment for all participants.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Review lesson plans to ensure they are engaging, effective, and promote water safety and swimming proficiency while aligning with swimmers&#39; abilities and current swim levels.</li><li>Instruct swim lessons, demonstrating proper techniques and fostering a positive learning environment for students.</li><li>Conduct water interviews, train, and supervise a team of swim instructors, providing ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities.</li><li>Conduct regular evaluations of instructors to ensure the quality and consistency of swim instruction.</li><li>Observe and enforce all safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe swimming environment.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and program participation.</li><li>Communicate effectively with participants and their families regarding progress, schedules, and any program changes.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a swim instructor, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.</li><li>Required valid certifications: Standard First Aid with CPR-C, and National Lifeguard.</li><li>Strong leadership and organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Ability to work with diverse age groups and skill levels.</li><li>Previous competitive swimming experience is an asset.</li></ul></p></p>
