<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><p><p><p><p>D7 Mechanical LTD. is seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Duty Mechanic with a strong <strong>background in Sandvik underground battery electric vehicles (BEVs) </strong>to join our maintenance team at a remote mine site. This position plays a critical role in supporting safe and efficient underground operations by ensuring the peak performance of advanced BEV equipment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on Sandvik underground BEV fleet</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydralic systems in high-voltage battery-powered mobile equipment</li><li>Conduct inspections, record maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standard</li><li>Collaborate with OEM reps and mine operations to minimize downtime</li><li>Adhere to all mine site safety protocols and environmental standards</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal preferred)</li><li>Minimum 3 years of underground mining experience</li><li>Demonstrated experience with Sandvik BEV equipment is MANDATORY</li><li>Valid Class 5 driver&#39;s license</li><li>Ability to work in a remote, rotation-based environment (eg., 14/14)</li></ul></p></p></p></p></p></p>
