<p ><strong><span >RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></strong></p>

<li ><span >Supervises crews and coordinates the activities of the workers in surface and underground mining projects.</span></li>
<li ><span >Lead and support a team of heavy-duty mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and uptime of heavy mobile equipment critical to mine operations.</span></li>
<li ><span >Works within the contract presented to the client.</span></li>
<li ><span >Mentor apprentices and support employee development and training.</span></li>
<li ><span >Conducts weekly safety meetings and provides a safe work environment.</span></li>
<li ><span >Daily documentation and correspondence between client and company on performance of crew and equipment as described in the applicable contract.</span></li>
<li ><span >Ensure QAQC forms and red-line drawing packages are being completed properly and submitted in a timely manner.</span></li>
<li ><span >Ensure work orders are being filled out properly with quality information.</span></li>
<li ><span >Must follow standard safety operating procedures.</span></li>
<li ><span >The ability to work with OEM representatives.</span></li>
<li ><span >Coordinate with operations, planning, and parts departments to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with production needs.</span></li>
<li ><span >Prioritize and schedule repairs in collaboration with operations and site supervisors.</span></li>
<li ><span >Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and mine site policies.</span></li>
<li ><span >Conduct toolbox talks, safety audits, and job hazard assessments.</span></li>
</ul>
<p ><ul style="margin-bottom:0in;list-style-type: disc;margin-left:undefined;"><li ><span >Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.</span></li></ul></p>

<li ><span >Keep maintenance reports and documentation Incorporate HS&E concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety (co-workers, clients, and sub trades).</span></li>

<p ><p><strong><span >QUALIFICATIONS:</span></strong></p></p>
<ul style="margin-bottom:0in;" type="disc">
<li ><span >Post Secondary in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician.</span></li>
<li ><span >Minimum 2 plus years in supervisory or lead role and previous experience working on larger industrial heavy equipment used in the mining and earthworks industry; (Earthworks, Civil construction, and Mining); </span></li>
<li >
<span >Strong computer skills. MS Suite and </span><span >proficiency in maintenance diagnostic software programs.</span>
</li>
<li ><span >Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</span></li>
<li ><span >Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills in hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and undercarriage components.</span></li>
<li ><span >Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and interpret diagnostic codes.</span></li>
<li ><span >Have a valid Class 5 Driver's License.</span></li>
<li ><span >Eligible to work and reside in Canada.</span></li>
</ul>
