Heavy Equipment Technician (421A) </strong></p><p><br /></p><p>We’re looking for a skilled and motivated<strong> Heavy Equipment Technician (421A)</strong> who enjoys hands-on work, variety, and travel. In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment for a wide range of customers — both in-shop and on-site. Every day brings a new challenge, from troubleshooting engines and hydraulic systems to ensuring our customers’ machines run at peak performance.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do: Heavy Equipment Technician (421A) </strong></p><ul><li><p>Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and components.</p></li><li><p>Provide on-site and roadside service for heavy equipment.</p></li><li><p>Recondition and rebuild engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.</p></li><li><p>Communicate effectively with customers for repair authorization and updates.</p></li><li><p>Document all work accurately — service records, warranty, and work orders.</p></li><li><p>Participate in manufacturer and in-house training (including Hitachi programs).</p></li><li><p>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers’ online technical support.</p></li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring: Heavy Equipment Technician (421A) </strong></p><ul><li><p>421A Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate (or registered Apprentice).</p></li><li><p>2–3 years of hands-on experience working with heavy equipment, trucks, or diesel engines.</p></li><li><p>Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and customer service abilities.</p></li><li><p>Valid G driver’s license (DZ considered an asset).</p></li><li><p>A team-first attitude and commitment to safety.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Why Join Us: Heavy Equipment Technician (421A) </strong></p><ul><li><p>Competitive hourly wage + travel allowance</p></li><li><p>Day shift, no rotating nights or weekends</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive benefits package</p></li><li><p>Paid in-house and manufacturer training (Hitachi certification)</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to travel locally and work independently</p></li><li><p>Supportive, safety-first culture</p></li></ul><p><br />For immediate consideration please apply resume to Syndel Gerlings at <span >sgerlings@fuzehr.com</span></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
