The Opportunity
Are you passionate about sales, relationship building, and motivating others to grow business?
We are looking for an Independent Sales Representative to expand Buckeye International’s market presence. In this B2B sales position, you will work closely with a network of distributors and their sales force to deliver the unique Buckeye value proposition to current and prospective customers.
This role requires a competitive, driven individual who is eager to take charge of a territory. We have seen individuals with 3-6 years of business-to-business sales experience with a tangible product excel in this role. We also highly encourage Veterans transitioning from military to civilian life to apply, as our comprehensive training program is perfectly suited to prepare you for success from the ground up.
Core Responsibilities
- Training & Development: Successfully complete the comprehensive training program at Buckeye’s headquarters in St. Louis, MO, to gain in-depth product and application knowledge.
- Coaching & Motivation: Train, coach, and motivate distributor sales representatives on sales processes, product knowledge, presentation skills, and the demonstration process.
- Direct Sales Support: Assist distributor sales representatives on sales calls and conduct product demonstrations for end-users (e.g., school districts, universities, hospitals, retail facilities).
- Relationship Building: Build strong, lasting partnerships within the industry and represent Buckeye International as a source of product knowledge and leadership.
- Customer Education: Educate and inform customers on Buckeye’s products through effective demonstrations and consultative sales processes.

Education Requirement
Bachelor's Degree
Experience Requirement
2+ years of outside sales and/or territory management experience (Requirement waived for Military Veterans)
