<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR/PROJECT COORDINATOR</p><p>Company: Principle Projects Ltd.</p><p>Location: Redwater, Alberta (Industrial Site)</p><p>Starting Wage : $44.00 hourly</p>Position Summary<p>Principle Projects is seeking Industrial Construction Estimator/Project Coordinator. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of construction methodology, including previous concrete construction experience in Industrial facilities. Construction Engineering Technology and/or estimating experience is a mandatory requirement of this position.</p>Duties of the Construction Estimator/Project Coordinator<p>The duties of the Construction Estimator/Project Coordinator role may include the following:</p><ol><li><p>Estimate the cost of materials, labour, and equipment for construction projects from contract bid documents, drawings, and specifications.</p></li><li><p>Plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.</p></li><li><p>Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a project.</p></li><li><p>Communicate with the general contractor to scope changes and adjustments to cost estimates.</p></li><li><p>Manage and co-ordinate construction projects, and prepare construction progress schedules.</p></li><li><p>Manage project administration, including cost control, schedule control and change order administration.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.</p></li><li><p>Develop and implement quality control programs.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and submit all turnover documentation.</p></li></ol>Required Experience and Skills<p>The successful candidate must have the following experience:</p><ol><li><p>Must have at least <strong>five years experience</strong> as an industrial Construction Estimator.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.</p></li><li><p>Have a detailed and comprehensive knowledge of construction and construction methods.</p></li><li><p>Have strong planning and organizational skills.</p></li><li><p>Use computer spreadsheets and databases as well as estimating, take-off, and scheduling software.</p></li></ol>About Principle Projects<p>Principle Projects is a full-service industrial concrete and light civil contractor operating in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
