Maintenance Technician (Night Shift) – Milton, ON
Wage: 34$/h
Location: Milton, Ontario
Shift: Monday to Thursday (Finishing Friday Morning)
Time: 7 pm to 6 am
OpTalent is proud to be partnering with a long-standing industry leader in the manufacturing of landscaping products.
We are currently supporting their search for a Maintenance Technician to join their night shift team at the Milton plant. If you're a hands-on problem solver with a strong mechanical background and a passion for preventative maintenance and plant uptime, this opportunity is for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
As the Maintenance Technician on the night shift, you'll play a vital role in keeping the plant running smoothly by:
Performing preventative and corrective maintenance across a variety of mechanical systems and equipment
Troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing production machinery in a high-volume concrete manufacturing environment
Leading and executing mechanical shutdowns as needed
Managing inventory of parts and supporting internal reporting processes
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace and contributing to plant-wide safety initiatives
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment
CWB welding certification – considered an asset
Strong experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and mechanical troubleshooting
Safety-first approach with a strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
