Job Description

<p>We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Systems Administrator with strong expertise in Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, and Intune (Endpoint Manager/MDM). This individual will play a critical role in managing, securing, and optimizing the organization's core Microsoft infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across hybrid and cloud environments. The ideal candidate is highly technical, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting enterprise-scale deployments.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Administer and maintain Active Directory environments, including user provisioning, group policies, authentication, and domain services.</li><li>Manage and support Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and/or hybrid), including mailbox management, distribution lists, policies, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Administer and configure SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software packaging, patching, updates, and endpoint lifecycle management.</li><li>Deploy, configure, and manage Intune (Endpoint Manager / MDM) for mobile device and application management, compliance policies, and security baselines.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues across AD, Exchange, SCCM, and Intune environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.</li><li>Collaborate with security teams to enforce policies such as MFA, conditional access, and endpoint security.</li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures.</li><li>Support migrations, upgrades, and integration projects across Microsoft technologies.</li><li>Monitor system performance, capacity, and logs to proactively identify and resolve issues.</li><li>Provide escalation support and knowledge sharing for junior team members.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>3–5+ years of experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, and Intune in enterprise environments.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows Server, group policies, and authentication protocols.</li><li>Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure AD, M365).</li><li>Familiarity with endpoint security, patch management, and compliance frameworks.</li><li>Excellent communication and documentation skills.</li><li>Relevant certifications preferred: Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, MCSE, or equivalent.</li></ul><p>Nice-to-Have:</p><ul><li>Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python).</li><li>Exposure to Azure AD, Defender for Endpoint, and cloud-based Exchange.</li><li>Knowledge of enterprise security best practices (Zero Trust, IAM).</li></ul>
