Join us in making a meaningful impact in mental health care.</p><p></p><p>This is a full-time, Contract position working 35 hours weekly, with a planned start date in December 2025 and a planned end date for March 31st, 2027. </p><p></p><p>The ROLE</p><p>The Intensive Counsellor plays a key role in delivering high-quality, in-home mental health services to children, youth, and their families. Reporting to the Manager of Intensive Services, this position provides comprehensive, evidence-based interventions designed to support emotional well-being, strengthen family relationships, and promote positive developmental outcomes.</p><p>Working collaboratively with caregivers, interdisciplinary team members, and community partners, the Intensive Counsellor ensures that individualized care plans are coordinated, goal-oriented, and responsive to each familys unique needs. This role involves case management, therapeutic intervention, and advocacy, with a focus on providing flexible, accessible, and culturally sensitive services within home and community settings.</p><p>The Intensive Counsellor contributes to the organizations mission by fostering a safe, supportive environment for clients and maintaining a commitment to professional excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement in service delivery.</p><p></p><p>You will prioritize client safety by adhering to established policies and guidelines that ensure consistency in the delivery of quality and safe care and, by identifying and reporting any client safety incidents.
