From day <span >one,youllcollaborate</span> with top-notch industry leaders, develop yourexpertise, shape your own career path, and make an impacthere at Davidson.<br><br></li></ul><p>About the Role</p><p>Are you a tech-savvy leader who loves solving complex problems, building trusted client relationships, and shaping the future of how organizations manage technology risk?<br><br></p><p>Davidson & Company <span >isexpandingourPublicCompanyAudit</span> Team, andwerelooking for a Senior <span >Manager/Principalwhosready</span> to lead high-impact IT audit and advisory engagements across a diverse client base of private and publicly traded companies.<br><br></p><p>In this fully client-facing role,youllbecome a go-to expert in IT risk and controls from SOX/ICFR and ITGCs to cybersecurity, cloud, and system implementation <span >assurance.Youllguide</span> clients through todays evolving technology landscape, strengthen their control environments, and help expand a forward-thinking practice that thrives on curiosity, collaboration, and innovation.<br><br></p><p>Ifyoureenergized by leading talented teams, delivering practical solutions, and bringing clarity to complex tech challenges, this role is for you.<br><br></p><p>WhatYoullDo</p><p>No two days look the same butheresa snapshot of the impactyoullmake:<br><br></p><ul><li>Lead end-to-end IT audit, SOX, and technology risk engagements across diverse industries including hands-on IT risk assessments for cybersecurity and emerging regulatory frameworks helping clients stay ahead in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee planning, scoping, project management, budgeting, staffing, and delivery of complex engagements, ensuring exceptional quality and client satisfaction.</li></ul><ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level client stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, Audit Committees).</li></ul><ul><li>Review and approve workpapers, testing procedures, and deliverables for accuracy, clarity, and technical excellence.</li></ul><ul><li>Providesenior-level insights on IT general controls (ITGC), application controls, cybersecurity governance, cloud architectures, and regulatory requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>Partner with clients to strengthen their IT control environments by shaping smart control design, streamlining governance, exploring automation opportunities, and driving effective remediation to reduce tech-related risks.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain strong knowledge of evolving technologies including cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity and access management, ERP systems, and cybersecurity frameworks.</li></ul><ul><li>Advise clients on technology transformations, system implementations, and risks associated with digital initiatives.</li></ul><ul><li>Champion innovation within the practice, including data analytics, automation, and AI-driven audit enhancements.</li></ul><ul><li>Support performance management, hiring decisions, and progression planning withinour PublicCompanyAudit Team.</li></ul><ul><li>Foster a collaborative, supportive, and high-performance culture aligned with Davidsons values.</li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to the growth ofour Public Audit groupthrough proposal development, thought leadership, and networking.</li></ul><ul><li>Help elevate our Public Company Audit practice byidentifyingnew advisory opportunities, enhancing our tools and methodologies, and mentoring team members to grow their skills, confidence, and technical excellence.</li></ul><p></p><p>WhatYoullBring to the Table</p><p>Yourenot just an expert yourea strategicthinker, a relationship builder, anda trusted advisor to both our internal and external clients.<br><br></p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.</li></ul><ul><li>Professional designation such asCISA,CPA,orCIA.
