<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>Fluor Driver Inc. is currently seeking reliable, detail-oriented Janitors for a Turnaround in Sarnia, ON. The successful candidate&#39;s responsibilities will be to safely and effectively perform general janitorial duties in an industrial maintenance environment.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain cleanliness of the facility by: sweeping, dusting, waxing, mopping, scrubbing, washing windows, bathrooms, interior walls and ceilings vents; as well as vacuuming and sanitizing all areas.</li><li>Clean and disinfect bathrooms, toilets and fixtures.</li><li>Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.</li><li>Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.</li><li>Constantly push the janitorial cleaning cart between working areas - Loads can consist of up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Restock necessary supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, etc.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed, ensuring an adequate supply of cleaning materials and tools.</li><li>Conduct site inspections and report any potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance related issues promptly to the shift supervisor.</li><li>Ensure that cleaning tasks are well-coordinated and completed efficiently, adapting to changing priorities as necessary. </li><li>Strictly follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment.</li><li>Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.</li><li>Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong><strong>Key Characteristics </strong></p><ul><li><strong><em>Physically Demanding on the body; Bending, crouching, kneeling, standing, lifting, pushing and walking at all times throughout the shift (Averaging 20,000 Steps+ daily)</em></strong></li><li>Must be able to lift heavy loads</li><li>Repetitive Tasks working long hours daily.</li><li>Ability to understand verbal and written communications in English.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Education </em></strong></p><ul><li>Experience in industrial maintenance facility is an asset.</li><li>Certified in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS).</li><li>Ability to use Personal protective equipment (PPE) and following best practices to ensure personal and workplace safety.</li><li>Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations.</li></ul><p><strong>Position Information</strong></p><ul><li>Located in Sarnia, ON</li><li>Call-out work only, possibly leading to full time </li><li>Afternoon Shifts - 3:30pm to 12:00am</li></ul></p></p>
