<p>Lead Full stack engineer</p><p>Downtown Toronto</p><p>Full Time</p><p><br></p><p>We’re looking for a <b>Full Stack Lead</b> with strong expertise in <b>Node.js, React.js, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</b> to develop, and scale modern web applications. The ideal candidate will balance <b>hands-on technical development</b> with <b>some leadership</b>, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions are delivered on time.</p><p>You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and DevOps teams across India and North America, leading by example in code quality, design thinking, and engineering excellence.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead a team of full stack developers across time zones to deliver robust, scalable applications.</li><li>Design and build <b>RESTful APIs and microservices</b> using <b>Node.js (Express/Nest.js)</b>.</li><li>Architect and implement <b>front-end solutions</b> with <b>React.js</b>, ensuring responsive, performant UI experiences.</li><li>Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on <b>Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</b> — including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.</li><li>Collaborate with architects and product managers to define technical strategy, timelines, and deliverables.</li><li>Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.</li><li>Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices to improve reliability and release cadence.</li><li>Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security across all layers of the stack.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><b>10 years</b> of full stack development experience, with <b>2+ years</b> in a lead developer role.</li><li>Strong proficiency in <b>Node.js,and React.js</b></li><li>Solid understanding of <b>microservices architecture, RESTful APIs</b>, and <b>async programming</b>.</li><li>Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on <b>Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</b>.</li><li>Familiarity with <b>CI/CD tools</b> (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI) and <b>containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)</b>.</li><li>Proficient in <b>JavaScript/TypeScript</b>, SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firestore).</li><li>Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with global teams.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across geographies.</li></ul>Create Your Resume First
