The work hours arefrom 11:00am to 7:30pm, 4 days a week including some weekends. Flexibility to work around morning shift as required is an asset. </p><p><br /></p><p><em>If you have experience as a lead working in a production setting, moving company, or have commercial cleaning experience, this job is for you.. apply today!</em></p><p><br /></p><p>The Leads primary role is to efficiently receive, coordinate and process all the different types of material that we recover at our facility. The role requires doing pick-ups with an 20' cube truck and assisting drivers on jobs at customer locations. Responsibility includes but is not limited to Health & Safety compliance, maintaining the equipment, job allocation, support with training new associates, and yard and facility organization.</p><p><br /></p><p>Why you will love this job!</p><ul><li>Step into leasership by coordinating warehouse operations when the Operations Coordinator is away.</li><li>Join a growth-oriented company that invests in safety, training, and your professional development.</li></ul><p>Flexible and collaborative team environment where your efforts diretly support both logistics and drier operations. </p><p><br /></p><p>Duties include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Unloading/Loading materials from truck with the use of forklift, pallet jack or by hand</li><li>Perform pick-up with a 20' cube truck within Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley</li><li>Coordinating the daily operations at warehouse including but not limited to shipping and receiving as well as material processing, and supervision other crew in absence of operations coordinator</li><li>Operating machine equipment bailer, paper shredder, hanger shredder, wire stripper, conveyor belt.</li><li>Sorting, dismantling and processing materials for its highest and best use</li><li>Assisting Customer Service Associates with pick-up of material at customer location</li><li>Opening and Closing of Recovery Center</li><li>Training and supporting other associates on related procedures, equipment and health and safety requirements and other duties.</li><li>Assisting the operations coordinator by ensuring all Health & Safety regulations and procedures are being followed and reporting any issues regarding H&S</li><li>Assist the Operations Coordinator with general maintenance of equipment</li><li>Perform First Aid as needed</li><li>Other related duties</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Forklift experience min. 2 years </li><li>Class 5 Driving License min. 3 years of driving experience</li><li>Level 1 Industrial First Aid Certificate - Completion prior to end of probation</li><li>TDG Certificate - Completion (prior to end of probation)</li><li>WHIMIS - Completion prior to end of probation</li><li>Strong organizational and leadership skills</li><li>Experience supporting others and providing guidance and instruction</li><li>Work independently with minimum supervision</li><li>Take directions well with positive attitude and willingness to learn</li><li>Able to lift up to 50lbs andstand for long period of time</li><li>Results oriented</li><li>Zero Waste Fundamentals Course Completion (prior to end of probation)</li><li>Aligns with our CLEER core values;</li></ul><p>Citizenship | Leadership | Environment | Empowerment | Responsibility</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
