Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our service team in North York, ON. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise and customer service skills to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
Requirements
Licensing & Certifications:
- Valid Ontario Automotive Service Technician (310S) License
- Valid Class G Driver's License with a clean driving record
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong experience with German and high-end brands (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, etc.)
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in diagnosing and servicing transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and drivetrains
- Experienced with manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Skilled in engine and electrical system diagnostics
- Familiar with ABS, traction control, and advanced safety systems
- Knowledgeable in HVAC and comfort system repairs
- Experienced using modern diagnostic tools and manufacturer-specific software (e.g., Snap-on, VCDS, Xentry)
Education & Availability:
- Completion of secondary school required
- Computer literate
- Flexible availability, including Saturdays
Communication & Teamwork:
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Safety & Compliance:
- WHMIS and hoist training is an asset
- Adherence to safety standards and industry regulations at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$46.00 per hour
