From audit and tax to consulting and specialist advisory services, we help clients navigate complexity and seize opportunity with clarity.</p><p></p><p>Your role:</p><ul><li>Working closely with all Tax Partners and other Senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision and tax advisory engagements</li><li>Manage and coordinate tax planning and compliance services for individuals requiring US and Canadian income or estate tax filings</li><li>Manage risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections and project budgets</li><li>Review assessments and correspond with the IRS, state authorities and CRA on various issues</li><li>Build and manage client relationships at a senior level; advise clients by delivering high quality tax service and advice</li><li>Actively mentor and coach staff to their highest potential</li><li>Supporting and mentoring firm staff in respect of tax matters</li><li>Identifying client service opportunities</li></ul><p></p><p>What you bring to the table:</p><ul><li>US and/or Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)</li><li>Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of the Canada-US Tax Treaty</li><li>Completion of the In-Depth Tax Program or Masters of Tax Program</li><li>Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written</li><li>Ability to multi-task and manage a demanding workload and multiple deadlines</li><li>Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and develop team members</li><li>Proficiency in CaseWare, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office</li></ul><p></p><p>Whats in it for you?</p><ul><li>Career Growth opportunities</li><li>Competitive total compensation package including extended health care, dental and group life benefits</li><li>Family Benefits - parental leave top-up program for new parents</li><li>Matching RRSP plan</li><li>Annual bonus program</li><li>Health and wellness spending account.</li><li>Vacation and personal days (4 weeks per year)</li><li>Continuing Professional Development courses are provided as well as numerous informal training and development opportunities.
