<p><p>Join to apply for the <b>Manager - Technology Strategy</b> role at <b>TELUS</b></p><p>The Data Strategy & Enablement (DSE) team is on a continuous journey toward helping TELUS become a world-class leader in Artificial Intelligence products and solutions by delivering ML and data analytics capabilities built upon unified scalable platforms, advanced tooling, high-quality data, and a product- and platform-oriented culture. The AI Accelerator team acts as transformation consultants to help business units create exponential value through an insight-by-design approach.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul><li>Lead and Inspire: Manage and motivate a team of 10 AI experts, inspiring intrapreneurs who identify opportunities, take calculated risks, and own the results and impact of their work</li><li>Strategic Implementation: Drive the development and execution of AI strategies that align with TELUS objectives, ensuring transformative technologies are implemented at scale</li><li>AI Initiatives: Lead projects in areas such as automated network management, predictive maintenance, optimized operations, and targeted investments to improve end-user experience</li><li>Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex AI products and AI-driven insights to unlock opportunities and drive decision-making</li><li>Change Management: Facilitate organizational change by operationalizing AI insights and managing transformations through effective change management practices</li><li>Engineering Excellence: Lead the development and implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient AI solutions following best MLOps practices</li></ul><h3>What You Bring</h3><ul><li>AI Expertise: Deep technical knowledge and 3+ years of experience deploying AI and machine learning solutions, with a focus on telecommunication applications</li><li>Business Development: Experience developing new strategies and identifying business opportunities that result in efficiencies and financial outcomes</li><li>Team Leadership: 3+ years guiding and influencing people, with the ability to build and lead a team of 10 AI professionals</li><li>Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the telecommunications industry and the ability to apply AI solutions to engineering-related challenges</li><li>Impactful Communication: Ability to serve as the primary communication link and provide executive updates on cross-TELUS AI programs</li><li>Adaptability and Learning Agility: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts and apply AI solutions effectively</li><li>Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields</li></ul><h3>Work Environment</h3><ul><li>Location: Anywhere in Canada (hybrid or fully remote work arrangement)</li><li>Collaboration: Work with experts in Brazil and across Canada</li></ul><p>Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will interact in English with external and internal parties and work with IT tools whose interface is in English as part of this position's responsibilities.</p><h3>Employment details</h3><ul><li>Seniority level: Not Applicable</li><li>Employment type: Full-time</li><li>Job function: Engineering and Information Technology</li><li>Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting, Telecommunications, and Utilities</li></ul></p>
