As the sole engineer, own technical problem-solving, process improvements, and operational engineering solutions. Drive measurable gains in quality, throughput, and reliability through technical expertise, collaboration, and full accountability for engineering outcomes—without direct people management.<strong> </strong></p><br />Outcomes:<p><strong>1. Process Documentation & Control: </strong>Develop and maintain complete, accurate work instructions, travellers, routings, and specifications for 100% of operations within 6 months. <br /> </p><p><strong>2. Equipment & Tooling Reliability:</strong> </p><ul><li>Maintain >95% uptime across all shop and specialized equipment through preventive maintenance planning, engineering oversight, and root cause analysis of breakdowns. </li><li>Implement documented maintenance standards and improvement plans for critical equipment. </li></ul><p><strong>3. Quality:</strong> Reduce defect or rework rates by 15% within 12 months through engineering-driven process improvements and operator guidance. </p><p><strong>4. Process Efficiency:</strong> Reduce standard hours for key operations by 5% within 12 months through tooling, layout, or method improvements. <br /> </p><p><strong>5. Technical Problem-Solving & Reverse Engineering:</strong> </p><ul><li>Complete reverse engineering of new or unknown components within X days of identification to enable uninterrupted operations and delivery commitments. </li><li>Resolve >90% of technical issues within 1 week of reporting, minimizing production delays and downtime.</li></ul><br />Role Responsibilities:<ul><li><strong>Deep Expertise in Motor/Coil Engineering: </strong>winding, insulation systems, testing, and manufacturing methods. </li><li><strong>Process Engineering & Industrialization:</strong> ability to design, validate, and scale robust manufacturing processes. </li><li><strong>Analytical & Data-Driven:</strong> uses KPIs, data, and structured problem-solving to make decisions and drive improvements. </li><li><strong>Cost-Conscious Engineering: </strong>balances design choices, materials, and processes with cost implications. </li><li><strong>Cross-Functional Influence:</strong> able to lead through technical expertise and collaboration, not authority. </li><li><strong>Documentation & Standards:</strong> strong discipline in specifications, process sheets, PFMEAs, control plans, and SOPs. </li></ul><p><br /></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
