Job Description
My Physio Sports and Rehab is looking for a receptionist to join its exciting team of health professionals. This position requires an experienced candidate to provide a professional level of service to ensure that the highest degree of quality patient care/confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Job Duties
- Acts as receptionist to greet and help patients in a professional, friendly, kind, helpful manner.
- Performs scheduling duties.
- Completes medical clinic opening, closing and stocking tasks.
- Initiates prior authorizations as required by payers and obtains pre-certifications for services as needed.
- Verify insurance on all new and existing patients.
- Maintains patient records and other department documentation, including, but not limited to, alphabetical filing, copying & mailing physician correspondence, processing & assembly of physician charts.
- Maintains clinic organization including, vacuuming, stocking bedside supplies, laundry and general clinic cleaning duties.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience required due to the busy nature of the clinic. Exemplary phone etiquette, with ability to handle multiple calls and tasks. Working knowledge or Microsoft Word, Excel, and similar computer programs. Experience with Jane app required.
