<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced <span >Millwrights/Production</span> Operators for an upcoming contract assignment in Southwestern Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.</p><p>***Please note this is a temporary contract position, so it may not be suitable to someone currently working full time***</p><p>You will earn:</p><ul><li>$60.00 per hour ($12,480 bi-weekly pre tax)</li><li>Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)</li><li>On-site lodging (required)</li><li>All meals provided</li><li>Contract Duration: 1 - 120 days</li></ul><p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs associated on various machinery in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Service boilers and compressors</li><li>Installing, rebuilding, repairing and removing equipment and components</li><li>Use and interpret schematics and blueprints related to plant equipment</li><li>Open water lines for fire system.</li><li>Operate production equipment</li><li>Familiarity and ability to measure and do weight conversions</li><li>Perform material mix manually as well as using valves, hoses, attachments pumps and filters. </li><li>Monitor flow meters, dials and gauges</li><li>Operate and dispense materials using production system</li><li>Wash containers/vessels when needed</li><li>Documentation and labelling duties.</li><li>Ability to operate a forklift and other related material handling machinery</li><li>Ability to multi-task and perform in a variety of manufacturing facets</li><li>Ensure safe operation of machinery ensuring it is in good working condition and works in accordance to company regulations.</li><li>Practice and maintain standard operating procedures and remain compliant with all quality, safety, production and environmental rules, standards and regulations</li><li>Maintain accurate up-to-date maintenance database records</li><li>Demonstrated working knowledge of lock out tag out and confined space entry.</li><li>Experience with rigging of equipment, set-up and alignment of machinery and equipment</li><li>Review work assignments and job procedures to ensure safe and reliable work execution</li><li>Maintain plant equipment at optimum efficiency</li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent</li><li>Hold a valid 433A certificate of qualification</li><li>Min 2 years millwright experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Valid Forklift license</li><li>Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.</li><li>Demonstrated strong interpersonal, technical and communication skills</li><li>Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)</li></ul><p>AFIMAC is a global risk management and elite security company.
