We offer great benefits and more:</p><ul><li>Highly Competitive Wages, $31-$36/h</li><li>Company 6% RRSP Matching Program.</li><li>Great Health Benefits for You and Your Family.</li><li>High Quality Individuals and Teams to Work With.</li><li>Strong Safety Culture.</li><li>Be part of the team building legacy infrastructure that will be around for generations (You can say I built that!).</li></ul><p>What You Will Be Doing</p><ul><li>Operate a Ready-Mix Truck in urban areas and tight construction sites.</li><li>Routine equipment maintenance.</li><li>Contribute to keeping locations in and around the plant clean and hazardous free.</li><li>Learn our company safety protocol in order to execute work safely.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>Reality of the Job</p><ul><li>You might work long hours some days depending on the customer's project requirements.</li><li>You will be expected to work Saturdays during peak season.</li><li>You will be maneuvering the trucks in sometimes very tight construction areas.</li></ul><p>What We Need from You</p><ul><li>Class 1 or 3 CDL (with air brake endorsement).</li><li>Safe Driver Record.</li><li>Concrete Mixer Truck driving experience an asset.</li><li>An understanding of concrete products an asset.</li><li>Must be mechanically inclined.</li><li>City driving experience.</li><li>The ability to drive standard or manual transmission.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and be available on short notice.</li><li>Ability to successfully pass our pre-employment testing.</li></ul><p>IMPORTANT: As a safety sensitive position, it is a condition of employment that selected candidate successfully pass comprehensive pre-employment testing that includes a Drug and Alcohol screen and Fitness to Work testing. Please note that we have a zero-tolerance policy for any Cannabis derived products regardless of use frequency or purpose.</p>
