Operations managers are responsible for a large amount of the business&#39; day-to-day operations and managing production staff. Time spent painting will be compensated at an hourly rate beginning at minimum $18/hr (however this will quickly increase once the manager develops core competencies), while time spent managing crews is paid out on commission based on crew performance and job size. This commission quickly become very large as the manager takes on more crews.</p><p>Prior to summer, the manager will partake in sales & marketing to earn money part-time as well as boost their commission in the summer season. Projects both sold & produced by a manager will see a large portion of the net profits go to the manager.</p><p>Frequent bonuses will also be available to the manager if the business hits its production goals.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ol><li><p>Responsible for the overall completion and quality of contracting projects</p></li><li><p>Active participation in marketing & sales</p></li><li><p>Client communication and production scheduling</p></li><li><p>Training, on-boarding & managing employees</p></li><li><p>Initiating and finishing jobs including:</p><ol><li><p>Picking up client payments</p></li><li><p>Transporting materials such as ladders, paint cans, etc</p></li><li><p>Working with suppliers to place paint and material orders</p></li><li><p>Job-site marketing efforts</p></li></ol></li><li><p>Manage other day-to-day tasks that may be required of managers</p></li><li><p>Supporting in the coordination of staff events</p></li><li><p>Providing updates to the business owner on an ongoing basis</p></li></ol><p> </p><p>Want to learn more or get more information?
