Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CPA Engagement Manager to join our growing firm. The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of client engagements and play a key leadership role within the practice. This position offers a clear and accelerated path to partnership for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise client engagements, including compilation, review, and audit mandates.
- Oversee corporate and personal tax filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic financial advice and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff, ensuring timely completion of assignments and adherence to firm standards.
- Conduct quality control reviews on working papers and financial statements.
- Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the firm\'s growth.
- Ensure compliance with CPA standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with partners on strategic planning, operational improvements, and practice development.
Qualifications
- CPA designation (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in public accounting or assurance services.
- Strong knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, and Canadian tax regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and manage staff.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in partnership and long-term growth within the firm.
- Bilingual (French/English).
